Countywide Health Fair scheduled for Oct. 17
The Arthur Nagel Community Clinic is bringing Bandera County health front and center this fall! The Bandera County Wide Health Fair is scheduled to take place Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Mansfield Park Rec Center.
The Christus Santa Rosa Mobile Mammogram unit will be on site to provide mammograms and women’s breast health information. South Texas Blood and Tissue will also be on site providing health information and assisting attendees interested in donating blood.
A limited amount of flu shots will be available courtesy of the Nagel Clinic. Blood pressure checks and blood glucose screenings will also be provided by Bandera County EMS. Texas Kidney Foundation will be available to educate the community on kidney health and kidney screenings. Additional vendors are forthcoming.
More information will be made available on the Clinic’s Facebook page (@ArthurNagelCommunityClinic). The event is free admission and open to the public.
Fulfilling an essential need, the Nagel Clinic works toward improving the overall health of Bandera County residents. Although they typically serve uninsured residents, the Clinic is eager to offer health information and services to all who attend the health fair.
