Gunnar Witt announces for Bandera City Council

My name is Gunnar Witt and I am running for City Council this November. I want to introduce myself and share a little background history with you. My wife and I are local business owners, we operate Bandera Bunkhouse on Main and Hill Country Referral and Management Services.
I served eight years in the U.S Navy specializing in Damage Control and Firefighting. I was honorably discharged at which point I moved to San Antonio and became a Federal Firefighter at JBSA Lackland AFB. I have been in the Fire Service a combined total of 24 years.
In my spare time I enjoy golf, always a work in progress. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as much as i can.
I am married to my soulmate, we have five fur babies that we spoil very much. Candice and I enjoy traveling as often as we can, we like to visit different places and experience new and exciting adventures where ever we go.
I met My wife Candice Clamon Witt many years ago, when I was a guest at her family's Riverfront Motel. I relocated to Bandera in 2011 and married Candice here in Bandera in 2014. Being that we have family history here and that we own businesses in Bandera we felt that we wanted to be more involved in the city's rapidly increasing growth.
Thank you for letting me introduce myself, I look forward to representing you in the near future.
