Bandera High School Academic Decathlon brings home the blue

Bandera Academic Decathlon participated at the Northside Scrimmage held at Health Careers High school. The Bandera team took first place in super quiz and second overall at the meet.

Top individual results are:
Sam Nimmrichter - 1st science, 2nd economics, 2nd social science, 5th art and 5th literature
Riley Longobardi - 1st economics, 1st social science, 2nd science, 2nd literature and 5th art
Hannah Bates - 1st science, 2nd literature, 2nd social science, and 3rd art
Ethan Ellingson - 1st math, 1st literature, 1st social science, 2nd music, 2nd economics, 3rd science, and 5th art
Esau Amaya - 4th social science
Samantha Rubalcava - 4th economics and 4th literature
Luke Bitzkie - 3rd music, 3rd science, and 4th social science
Chris McKnelly - 2nd science, 2nd social science, 4th art, 4th economics, and 4th literature
Rebecca Ellingson - 4th music, and 4th literature.
Additionally, the following students received recognition for being top overall scorers of the tournament.
Sam Nimmrichter - 5th overall varsity
Riley Longobardi - 2nd overall varsity
Hannah Bates - 5th overall scholastic
Ethan Ellingson - 2nd overall scholastic
Chris McKnelly - 3rd overall honors
