Artist Amanda Furr is exhibiting her paintings during the month of January. Furr hails from San Antonio and has won many prestigious awards for her vintage works based on her childhood haunts.
Furr has been painting for almost two decades and she specializes in still life with an emphasis on antiques from the 1950s. She jokes, “I tend to paint a lot of reflective chrome and reflective surfaces.”
Furr is a single mom with a degree from St. Mary’s University and is a member of several art societies.
Additional works of Furr can be viewed and purchased from http://fineartamerica.com.
