The second prize is a Howa Hogue Gameking Rifle/scope package in the caliber of your choice, donated by Boyles True Value in Bandera. Those tickets are $10 each or six for $50. All tickets are available now in the library at 7200 FM 1283.
Artist Amanda Furr is exhibiting her paintings during the month of January. Furr hails from San Antonio and has won many prestigious awards for her vintage works based on her childhood haunts.
Additional works of Furr can be viewed and purchased from http://fineartamerica.com.
The Women’s Self Defense Class is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 25, from noon to 2 p.m. Originally offered at the American Legion in Lakehills, it is free to females who are 16 years or older. Call the library for more information at 830-510-2777.
