Baubles and Boots beats fundraising goal
The final numbers aren't yet in for the Baubles and Boots event, hosted by the Bandera ISD Education Foundation at Antler Oaks Lodge on Jan. 18, but administrators confirmed they beat their fundraising goal of $25,000. The money raised goes back into the classrooms to help the children of Bandera ISD.
The walls were lined with silent and live auction items, donated by businesses and individuals throughout Bandera County. The catered meal, which included bacon-wrapped shrimp, sirloin steak and a table of desserts, was prepared by the Bandera High School Nutrition Department.
