Greg Spengler announces for Bandera County Constable Precinct 2
I get asked often, what does a constable do? And my response is that a constable’s main job is an officer of the court serving papers such as eviction notices, writ of possessions and adults contributing to truancy. But that isn’t all that a constable can do, we can do anything in the county the sheriff can do including enforcing traffic laws, cracking down on illegal drug activity, serving arrest warrants and so on.
Born in Helotes in 1965, I am a lifetime Texan, keeping my roots firmly planted in Texas soil. I completed my Texas Peace Officer training September of 2014 and currently am a deputy constable for Precinct 2, Medina County. I have over 1,000 hours of Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) training and am a certified TCOLE instructor. I have been a self-employed contractor for 19 years and know the value of hard work and dedication.
I have been living in Bandera County for the past 20 years during which time I have been active on the Medina Lake Volunteer Fire Department where I serve as a fire fighter, medical first responder and president of the board of directors since 2014. This past fall, I was recognized by the Lakehills EMS Support Group for providing 100 hours of volunteer service at the Lakehills EMS barn, improving the facility to be able to house a crew resulting in faster emergency response times during peak hours and saving lives of our friends and family members in the area.
Lakehills needs a constable tough on crime. This includes catching thieves, deterring traffic violations and stopping illegal drug activity. As a current deputy constable for Medina County, I have the experience needed to full the duties of the position immediately. And as an avid volunteer within the Lakehills community, I also have the dedication it takes to make Lakehills a safe and respectable community.
Thank you for your vote in the Republican primaries, please check out my website or Facebook page for more information and upcoming events. You must make a choice to take a chance, if you want anything to change.
