Jack Moseley announces for Bandera County Commissioner Precinct 3
Hello, my name is Jack Moseley. I’m running for reelection as your Bandera County Commissioner for Precinct 3 and I want your vote. With the exception of a few precinct lines, Precinct 3 is basically, City of Bandera north to the Kerr County line, across FM 337 west to the hill to Vanderpool, the Town of Medina, south and west toward Bandera and Tarpley.
I was born and raised right here in Bandera County. I graduated from Bandera High School in 1969.
I’ve been happily married to my best friend, Susie, for almost 51 years. We have two sons and two daughters-in-law who’ve blessed us with two grandsons.
I’m a proud Texan and a strong conservative. I believe in hard work, limited government and most importantly, keeping your taxes low.
When I first ran for commissioner three and half years ago, I promised to work hard for you. I’ve kept that promise and along the way accomplished a lot of what I set out to do.
I’m most proud of the fact that in the three years I’ve been your commissioner we haven’t raised your county taxes once!
Major Accomplishments
Precinct 3 has 112 miles of county-maintained roads, 55 miles of which are still dirt. As a 13-year employee of the Bandera County Road & Bridge Department I’ve worked on most the roads in the county and all of the roads in Precinct 3. I know first hand the issues we face. I’m working closely day to day with our County’s Road & Bridge Superintendent to resolve our road issues.
As your Commissioner for Precinct 3, I’m also in charge of the budget and daily operation of Mansfield Park and the Medina Dump.
Thank you for the opportunity to represent you these past three and half years. While I believe together, we’ve accomplished a lot...there’s still more to be done. That’s why I’m running for reelection and I’m asking for your vote.
Remember to vote, early voting begins Feb. 18 thru Feb. 28... March 3 is election day.
Precinct 3 polling places:
Ray Mauer Annex 403 12th St. Bandera
Medina Annex 141 E Parker St. Medina

Major Accomplishments
- Obtained an $18,000 grant for an economic study that showed over a 20-month period, the historic Mansfield Park generated $3.2 million of economic growth for the County. That’s with holding only 6 events. Imagine what we can do with a weather friendly event center able to host gun and knife shows, dog shows, concerts and adding stall barns for rodeo’s and other equestrian events will generate even greater income for the County. One of my top priorities for my next term
- Led the effort to change our subdivision rules and regulations to make it possible to put commercial property only on less than 5 acres for septic and well permits.
- Led an effort to convert Road and Bridge Department water trucks that will enable them to deliver water to our VFD trucks.
- Organized a group of volunteers to decorate the Courthouse lawn for Christmas.
