Ernest Reich announces for Bandera County Constable Precinct 2
My name is Ernest Reich and I have served as the Constable of Precinct 2, Bandera County since Jan. 1, 1989. I hope you will vote for me in the upcoming primary election so that I may continue serving our community.
If you have any questions, please email me at [email protected] or phone me at 210-260-0577.
The constable's duties include serving Civil Process papers, patrolling, acting as Bailiff for JP Court and serving arrest warrants. I have never forgotten that my wife Brenda and I are part of the community and I have always used my long experience with the Law to obtain outcomes that are most beneficial to all parties, including those having difficulties with the courts or with criminal charges. My years of experience have instructed me in the importance of discretion, patience, respect and mature judgment. Properly administered with wisdom, the Law has the power to heal as well as control and admonish.
My qualifications are listed below:
Civil process includes:
Evictions, Writs of Execution (Sales of property at the Courthouse steps), Attorneys' General Child Support Citations and Precepts, County Tax Suits, Litter Enforcement, (Texas Health and Safety Codes 343, and 365), Writs of Attachment of Persons, Writs of Possession recovering mobile homes that are being repossessed, Service of Protective Orders.
I grew up in San Antonio and Graduated from Brackenridge High School, married Brenda my wife and we moved to Garland. I was a project engineer designing high voltage power supplies to power night vision scopes for the Military. Started our own company, Reich Associates, Inc., in Plano, in 1970. Was Civil Defense Officer for the City of Plano over 10 years, and the last four years was also Civil Defense Officer for Collin county.
Brenda and I were Reserve Deputies for the Collin County Sheriff’s Department. We moved to Lakehills in 1985, and I was a reserve deputy for then Sheriff Guy Picket. Brenda became an EMT and we were involved with others in obtaining the helipad for air ambulances in Lakehills and adding bays to the EMS barn. I was president and later a director of the Lakehills EMS support team. Brenda and I were both active in establishing the Lakehills\Pipe Creek Library.
Early voting in the primary election is is from Feb. 18 through Feb. 28 at either the Lakehills-Pipe Creek Library of the Elections office in Bandera.
March 3, 2020 is the Primary election date. I would sincerely appreciate your vote.
