Construction has picked up pace at the Best Western Bandera Suites and Saloon. No more delays says General Manager Cori Reid, the hotel will be open in late April or early May.
A series of stalls has plagued progress since the $4.9 million project broke ground at the beginning of 2019. However, Reid said the hotel must open by May at the latest per contractual obligations.
Amenities for the hotel will include complimentary continental breakfast, a 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour business center, meeting and conferences spaces, refrigerators in all rooms, electric car-charging stations and a Harley wash station.
Reid said she will begin accepting resumés some time in March for at least eight to 10 positions. She said she would like to hire locally.
