Primary Election Day, where each party selects their candidates for the November election, is today, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Each voter must vote in his or her own precinct. The Lakehills library, 7200 FM 1283, serves Precinct 203.
Watercolor artist Linda Laura is exhibiting her paintings in the library until March 7.
Laura has had several one-man shows locally and she has participated in the Western Art Show. She is a member of the Helotes Art Guild.

The monthly Book Sale is Saturday, March 7. Hardcovers are $1.50 each; paperbacks and children’s books are 50 cents each.
The Genealogy Group meets the second Thursday, March 12, from 10 a.m. to noon. Laptops are provided or bring your own. Experienced searchers are available to help beginners.
Storytime for the pre-school kiddos is every Wednesday at 10:30. It includes fun games, songs and crafts to stimulate learning and friendship.
Free math tutoring is available with Fred Metzinger, retired high school teacher. His specialty is high and middle school pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and college prep. He is available on Thursdays, from 1 to 6 p.m. Students must sign up at the front desk of the library.
