Coronavirus update and panel discussion
A panel of local medical, emergency preparedness, and response experts have been assembled to discuss the Coronavirus on Monday, March 16, from 2-3 p.m., at the Medina United Methodist Church.
Originally scheduled to take place at the Medina Community Library, the meeting was moved to the church in anticipation of a large crowd, as well as to encourage social distancing during the meeting.
Topics discussed will include symptoms, who's at risk, what's the impact and what preventive actions we should and could be taking now, as well as home care measures when and if it hits.
Panelists are:
Dr. Scott Hopkins - infectious disease specialist
Dr. Debbie Hopkins - pulmonary and ICU
Dr. Pat Crocker - emergency medicine & prior FEMA team lead Sig Swanstrom - emergency preparedness author & specialist Lee Bailey - EMT Response
Diane Arel - nurse, long term care
Edie Jessup - community health nurse practitioner
