Christian Women’s Job Corps suspends classes
By Vicki L. George

The Christian Women’s Job Corps has suspended their classes until further notice.
There are several reasons: The Job Corps meets at First Baptist Church in Bandera and the church has canceled all activities and events. The students have school age children and those kiddos are now at home. The teachers are in the older, high risk population and are more susceptible to the Coronavirus.
The Job Corps hopes to resume classes when the public schools resume their classes. However, this means the women will not graduate, as planned, on April 10.
The Job Corps welcomes inquiries and donations. As a non-profit organization, all donations are tax deductible.
For more information, contact Job Corps Coordinator Aurora Williams at 830-326-1457 or email [email protected] or go to the website at fbcbandera.com/cwjc.
