Bandera ISD to transition from paper packets to online learning
Bandera ISD is preparing to transition completely to online learning.
Families that do not have a reliable computer at home will be able to check out a BISD Chromebook on Monday, April 6.
Families can download assignments while connected to wifi and access them at home without internet. Upon reconnecting to wifi, completed assignments can be uploaded. Detailed instructions will be provided. Wifi is available from vehicles in BISD parking lots, on Main Street through BEC, and in the parking lots of the county libraries.
All elementary and secondary students will receive a final paper packet on Monday, April 6, and will have the option of checking out a Chromebook by completing the form at https://tinyurl.com/bisdchromebookcheckout. Elementary students will not have access to paper packets beginning the week of April 13.
Chromebook Checkout will Monday, April 6, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m., at Bandera Middle School in the rear cafeteria parking log and at Hill Country Elementary in the parent pick-up loop.
