A second round of CoViD-19 testing will be held on Wednesday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Mansfield Park. There is no cost to be tested, however registration is required.
Callers will be screened for fever and/or chills, cough, fatigue, body aches, shortness of breath, sore throat, headaches, nausea/ vomiting/diarrhea, nasal congestion and loss of taste or smell. First responders and health care workers may sign up for testing without symptoms.
Emergency Management Coordinator Carey Reed said 45 people were tested last week during the first mobile drive-thru testing on April 28. As of Monday, no positive test results were reported.
Bandera County has had six cases confirmed. Of those, one person has recovered and one has required hospitalization.
To register, go to txcovidtest.org or call 512-883-2400. The tests on Wednesday will be conducted by appointment only.
