Bandera Natural History Museum to reopen Wednesday
The Bandera Natural History Museum will reopen on May 20, just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
The museum has been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected and hand sanitizer is distributed around the museum and at the educational play stations. Masks and gloves will be available for those who choose to wear them.
At the play stations, children will be asked to pretend they are paleontologists and wear gloves. Brushes will be available for them to clean off the bones before putting them in their correct place.
“We have tried making our social distancing requests fun and one that everyone will observe,” a museum representative said.
All memberships will be extended by 90 days as a thank you for loyal support. If you have any questions, please call at 830-328-5090.
Until then, the museum staff, directors and volunteers wish everyone the very best.
