Two Bandera High School 2020 graduates recently signed their National Letter of Intent to continue their educations while playing sports.
On Satuday, May 23, Kristen Salas finally got to sign with McMurry University, located in Abilene, to play basketball for the War Hawks.
Salas usually played shooting guard for the Lady Bulldogs, but moved to point guard when a teammate was lost for the season, averaged just under 9.9 points, 3.3 assists and 4.8 boards per game for her senior season.
She was also an All-American cheerleader while at BHS.

Caitlyn Thrasher signed her Letter of Intent to attend the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Friday, May 29, where she will run cross-country and track for the Crusaders.
She was a varsity starter all four years in track, four years in cross-country, including the 4A state championship teams in 2016 and 2017, and was a member of the powerlifting, softball and volleyball teams while attending BHS.
