Uncle Sam Slam Jam planned for July 4
Vendors, entertainers and sponsors needed
Celebrate this great country loud and Bandera proud. The Shindig and Guilds of Requiem are actively seeking local sponsors, local vendors, local food trucks, local artists and local entertainers for this annual community event. Our goal is to keep this event as close to free as possible to the community.
This will be a day long, old-fashioned community celebration with food, vendors, fun, a place for daytime ground fireworks displays with the kids, and will culminate in the ultimate big bang on Hwy. 16.
In the works is a family style shindig and hoe down, live music, county fair like environment and much more. Last year’s event had almost 100 people in attendance, this year we are setting our sights higher.
With the help of our neighboring businesses, we can reach that goal. We have a new marketing wizard who will actively promote you and your contributions to our community.
Sponsor level packages are viewable via social media and our website www.guildsofrequiem.com/theshindig. More information about all events can be found on the website, including how to sign up as a vendor, sponsor or entertainer.
Questions, comments, to sign up or help out – email [email protected] Robin, Kristy or Joshua will be glad to talk with you.
*** The Shindig opened in early 2019, sits on five acres, has live music and is the largest biker bar in Bandera County which brings in talent and riders from all over Texas for the betterment of our community’s economic growth. The Shindig is owned and operated by Joshua and Kristy Young of Bandera.
*** Guilds of Requiem has been open since 2016 and is an international network of crafters, tradesmen, producers and businesses focused on community education, services and economic development. Guilds of Requiem is incorporating as a non-profit this year with Robin Frazier of Pipe Creek as one of the initial board members. The Shindig is one of the newest businesses to join their international network.
