Bandera ISD praises Bandera Electric Cooperative
Bandera ISD recognized Bandera Electric Cooperative (BEC) during the June BISD Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, June 8.
BISD superintendent Dr. Jerry Hollingsworth praised BEC for its support of BISD students and families during the COVID-19 school closure.
In the first weeks of the school closure, BEC Fiber provided internet service to over 120 homes, allowing students to access remote learning to complete the school year. In addition, Bandera Electric Cooperative trucks raised the American and Texas flags for the Class of 2020 Drive-in graduation.
Bandera Independent School District values its partnership with Bandera Electric Cooperative and looks forward to continuing to work together to make a positive impact on the Bandera community.
