Christian Women’s Job Corps extends deadline for new session

The Christian Women’s Job Corps is still taking applications for their next training session. Applications are due by Thursday, Aug. 27. Mentor training is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 28, with orientation on Aug. 31. Classes will begin Tuesday, Sept. 1 and continue through Thursday, Nov. 19, with a graduation date of Friday, Nov. 20.
The Job Corps is free to adult women and provides “a safe Christ-centered environment that encourages spiritual, professional and personal growth,” according to the Job Corps mission statement.
Volunteers, as well as teachers, sponsors and mentors and are always needed. Monetary contributions are always welcome and, as a non-profit ministry of the church, all donations are tax deductible.
