Hwy. 337 between Vanderpool and Medina will be closed to thru-traffic beginning Nov. 9, when construction begins for a bridge replacement across Mill Creek. The estimated reopen date is April 2021.
During the closure, the Texas Department of Transportation will post detour signs (please see the map on this page).
According to the Vanderpool Volunteer Fire Department, anyone who needs emergency services, such as fire, EMS or law enforcement, will be asked what side of the Mill Creek Bridge they are located (east side or west side).
Primary fire response on the east side will come from the Medina Fire Department, and primary medical response on the east side will be handled by Bandera County EMS.
