Bandera County no longer exempted from state mask order
Bandera County is no longer exempt from Texas Executive Order GA-29 as Texas Department of State Health Services data shows that the county has had more than 30 new cases during the previous 14 day period.
As of Monday, Dec. 7, the county’s total active cases reached 42. That number jumped on Friday, Emergency Management Coordinator Carey Reed said, after a batch of Texas Health Trace cases were uploaded into the Region 8 master database.
Reed said County Judge Richard Evans would be able to reapply for the mask exemption in 14 days, if the county maintains 30 or less new Covid-19 cases during that timeframe.
