A Bandera man died Sunday after he was apparently thrown from his ATV. A driver-by saw him lying on the ground and called 911 at 8:19 that evening.
According to DPS State Trooper Scott Shinar, the driver, a 54-year-old male whose identity is being withheld until the investigation is complete, appeared to be thrown from the vehicle after failing to negotiate a curve on Peninsula Drive in Lake Medina Shores. He was pronounced dead by Pct. 3 Justice of the Peace Randall Boysen.
