Do well, be well, with diabetes
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is offering a free educational program focused on managing type 2 diabetes. The virtual series will kick off March 3 on Microsoft TEAMS.
The course is five weeks long and meets every Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. It is offered free due to DSHS grant funding.
Week 1: How food affects blood glucose
Week 2: Are you eating the right number of carbohydrates?
Week 3: Improving blood glucose control with physical activity
Week 4: Improving blood glucose control with medication
Week 5: Having your cake (or snack) and eating it, too
