FEMA assistance available to help pay funeral expenses for loved ones lost to Covid-19
Under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, FEMA is providing financial assistance to families who lost a loved one to Covid-19.
To be eligible for funeral assistance, the death must have occurred in the United States, and the death certificate must attribute the death directly or indirectly to Covid-19.
