This month at the Medina Library
The Summer Reading session number one will be June 23, session two will be June 30, session three will be July 7, session four will be July 14 and session five will be July 21. All sessions begin at 10:30 a.m.
Kids Bingo will be June 3, from 4-4:30 p.m.; crafts for kids will run from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Local author Joanne Easley will have a book signing for her novel Just One Look on Saturday, June 5, at 10:30 a.m. Legos are back - come by on Monday, June 28, from 3-4:30 p.m.

CPR/AED Training and Certification on Monday, June 21, from 1-5 p.m., cost is $25, registration required;

Medina Wordsmith Writing Club on Tuesday, June 29, at 3:30 p.m.;
All of these activities are free, and the public is welcome.
Other regular weekly events include beginners Yoga on Tuesdays at 8:45 a.m. and Fridays at 9:45 a.m.; and story time for the little ones on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
Free notary services are available, Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The library’s mission is to provide access to the world of ideas and promote life-long learning. It also functions as a community hub—a place for the increasingly diverse population of western Bandera County to come together to share ideas, information, knowledge and experience.
In addition to occasional special public programs the library itself sponsors relating to topics of local interest (past programs have ranged from archaeology to digital photography to rainwater harvesting), it also hosts a variety of meetings, events and activities sponsored by other community groups.
