Teaching Culture and Diversity in the classroom

This year’s Hill Country Professional Child Care Providers Conference will cover such topics as Working with Millennials, SIDS, Wondrous Outdoor Learning Environments, and Minimum Standards Updates. The keynote speaker ReShaun Webb will cover Culture & Diversity.
The director’s tract will focus on how we can incorporate culture and diversity into our curriculum and school culture, how to incorporate cultures into classrooms, and to push inclusion.
Culture & Diversity of Early Childhood Programs will be held Saturday, Sept. 11, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Gillespie County Extension Office, 38 Business Ct, Fredericksburg, 78624.
Registration cost is $50 if postmarked by Aug. 25 and $75 if late. Five clock hours training credit is included in the fee. Please mail your registration form and payment to Hill County Child Care Providers Conference or you can register online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2021-hill-country-child-care-providers-conference-tickets-158024638949 using the event name “2021 Hill Country Childcare Providers Conference.”
