With the start of school less than two weeks away, Bandera High School is already full speed ahead with sports activity and registration is still open for flag football.

Football
Bulldog Football will host their annual intra-squad scrimmage (Popsicle Bowl) and Media Day this Saturday, Aug. 7, starting at 8 a.m.
Next Friday, Aug. 13, will see LaPryor coming to town for the first of two scrimmages.
Bandera will take to the road on the following Thursday, (Aug. 19) to Natalia for the Bulldogs final tuneup before opening the season at Poteet on Aug. 27.
Volleyball
The Lady Bulldogs have a busy two weeks before school starts with road scrimmages at Navarro (Aug. 6) and South West (Aug. 7) before starting non-district at Cornerstone Christian on Aug. 10.
The annual Alumni match will take place at BHS on Wednesday, Aug. 11 and the first home action will be against Hondo on Tuesday, Aug. 17.

Cross Country
Bandera High School's cross-country teams will open their season at Johnson City on Aug. 20 and then split up the next week with some runners headed to Dripping Springs and some going to run the CC Relay race in Medina on Saturday, Aug. 28.
Bandera will host a high school and middle school meet at Bandera City Park on Sept. 11 as well as the district meet on Oct. 14.
Flag Football
It is still not to late to register for Boys and Girls Clubs of Bandera County Flag Football.
Registration is open until Aug. 28 and the league is open for K - sixth graders with all games at Bandera Middle School.
Go by the BGC offices located at 715 Maple St. to sign up.
