Don’t Be Average, Be a Leader: Bandera County 4-H is not just where you are, it is about where you want to go, what you want to do, who you want to meet, and how far you want to go.
You can attend summer camps, participate in workshops, contests, develop leadership and public speaking skills, win awards, meet 4-H’ers from all around Texas and have fun. 4-H events even help 4-H‘ers compete for scholarships to go to college.
Bandera County 4-H would like to extend an invitation to the 2021-2022 Kickoff Event on Aug. 31, at the Mansfield show barn, from 6 - 8 p.m. You will have the opportunity to enroll on 4-H Online, learn about the different opportunities that 4-H has to offer, and get answers to any questions you might have.
Youth are eligible to participate in the 2021-2022 4-H year if they are third grade and 8 years old by Aug. 31. Members and volunteers must re-enroll in 4-H each year. The membership fee is $25 if paid by Oct. 31. Starting Nov. 1, the membership fee increases to $30.
If you need more information, call the Bandera County AgriLife Extension Service at 830-796-7755. Hope to see you there. Today is going to be the best tomorrow will be even better.
