Bulldog Cross Country Report

The Bandera Prophet
All of the Bandera cross-country teams ran at the FEAST Home School Invitational Cross Country meet Saturday.
In Varsity Girls action, Bandera's five points earners finished in the top 20 percent of the field of 246 entries for the two mile event.
Led by Hannah Edwards and Raelynn Butler, finishing in fourth and sixth respectively, the other three runners, Emily Presa, Gracie Bankston and Jazlyn Dickerson were clustered, finishing in 44th, 45th and 46th place.
With these strong and consistent finishes, Bandera earned a team silver with 120 points, missing first place by just three points to the host team, FEAST. Boerne was third with 148 points.

The JV Lady Bulldogs won team gold with a low score of 56 points, edging out S.A. Cole (69) and LaVernia (82) for the top spot on the podium.
Comal Davenport and Boerne rounded out the top five teams with 86 and 91 points respectively.
All five Lady Bulldog points earners finished in the top 27 spots in the field of 135 runners.
Led by individual gold medalist, Morgan Cole and 11th place Ashlyn Brown, the other three runners strong finishes, Sharon Silva (19), Gabby Barrera (21) and Madelyn Garza in 27th, were strong in the winning effort.

In Varsity Boys, the Bulldogs finished third as a team with 135 points, due to the strength of their top three runners, all finishing in the top 20. San Antonio Christian and La Vernia were the only teams to better Bandera out of the 26 team field.
Ethan Brown (10) finished the 5K distance in 17:21.64, Braden Cox (14) ran a 17:38.00 and Mariano Casas (20) had a 17:43.87.
With Hudson Jackson (42) and Mack Robinson's (65)
support, the Bulldogs brought home the team bronze.
Also finishing were: 80, Ruben Ruiz-Palacios, 90, Logan Sadler, 19:34 PR, 91, Reese Mazurek, 19:35 PR, 94, Jacob Haas, 174, Kyle Moore
With 360 runners in the boys JV race that was inclusive of all schools, 1A through 6A, Bandera finished 21st out of 30 teams.
Cody Jureczki was the top Bulldog finisher in 67th overall with a 20:06.45 time over the 5K distance.
Ashton Robinson (85), Beto Muzquiz (139), Josh Nimmrichter (188) and Ben Adamietz (193) were the points scorers for Bandera.
Lane Timmons, Michael Verhey, Logan Klappenbach, Nino Martinez, Hayden Swalve, Travis Niccum, Jacob Tuma and Kelton Raab also ran for Bandera.
