Bulldog XC places in all four divisions at home meet

In what the timing and scoring officials said was the largest meet they had covered since the CoVid pandemic started, the Bandera Bulldog CC Invitational was a great success with 1,065 entries and 51 teams that included high school and middle school teams.
Girls
Varsity

The girls varsity teams, 15 of them, started the meet with a two-mile run and Bandera's Lady Bulldogs won the first of numerous team medals by Bandera finishing with team gold, taking the win over Lytle and Pleasanton, the other podium finishers.
Raelynn Butler was in great form and covered the field by almost 28 seconds on her way to individual gold.
Trinity Butler and Gracie Bankston both had top twenty finishes and Banera's other two points scorers, Danielle Gonzales and Emily Presa clustered in 22nd and 23rd place, helped earn 76 points for the team win.

The Lady Bulldog JV finishied with team gold in their two mile event, amassing just 38 points, as all seven runners finished in the top 20 spots out of a 92 runner field.
Bandera's five points scorers were in the top 13 places.

The Bulldog varsity took team bronze in the 5K race with a third place finish that saw the top three spots on the podium seperated by just 10 points.
Ethan Brown led the Bulldog charge with a top five finish and Braden Cox was just outside the top ten in 11th overall. With strong support from the numbers three through five runners, Mariano Casas, Hudson Jackson and Mack Robinson, the Bulldogs outscored fourth place Great Hearts Northern Oaks by 29 points.
There were 118 runners in this event.

The Bulldog JV followed the varsity lead as they also won team bronze in their 5K race. Bandera was headed only by champion Lytle and second place Lavernia.
In a 93 runner field, Ashton Robinson  and Lane Timmons were the top two Bulldogs finishing in 11th and 14th place respectively. Kyle Moore, Nino Martinez and Ben Adamietz were the other points scorers for Bandera with all three in the top 25 for team scoring.
