The Pipe Creek Presbyterian Church, locally known as the Little Rock Church, held a fundraising Market Day on Saturday, Sept. 25 on the church grounds at 8589 Hwy. 16 South. The huge crowds were able to shop more than two dozen vendors, inside and out, enjoy the food, the bake sale, and purchase raffle tickets for the beautiful quilt.
A lovely, reversible quilt was made by Barbara Boalo and quilted by Rose Jeter. Valerie Hannah, of Pipe Creek, won the quilt in the drawing.
The church has re-opened their Little Rock Cafe, every Wednesday on school days, from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Complete meals are $7 for adults, which includes drink and dessert, and $3 for children. Each week offers a different entree. The public is invited to enjoy the food and the fellowship.
