Football
The Medina Bobcats fell to unbeaten St. Stephens Episcopal Spartans by a 58-8 tally Thursday.
No stats were made available.
Medina (1-4) will open district play Friday against Prairie Lea (2-3) at home. The Indians are coming off a hard fought 59-50 win over Buckholts on Sept. 24.

The BMS volleyball teams were in Blanco for this weeks matches.
Seventh grade
The “B” team lost in two sets Monday night, 25-20 and 25-12.
The ladies fought through a hard first set and started the second off strong.
They are looking for a win next week in the final stretch of the season, back home in Bandera.
The “A” team lost in two sets as well. The first set looked as if Bandera would overcome the deficit, with passes from Kyra Blake and Presley Greenly that helped them gain momentum, but the Lady Panthers rallied and won 25-23. The second set was 25-14.
Other honorable mentions go out to Rehbekah Gomez and Samantha Sardo for their hard work and Jessi Battle for her positive attitude. 
Eighth grade
The Lady Bulldogs “B” team took home a win in two sets against Blanco.
Jossilyn Picconi had 20 consecutive serves in the second set which led Bandera to a 25-15 victory.
Notable recognition goes out to Emily Halsey and Brooklyn Grabs for their aggressive play at the net.
The “A” team lost in three sets to Blanco, 25-20, 14-25, and 25-21.
The ladies recovered from the first set loss in the second set with strong consistent serves by Addysen Bailey and Riley Teich. The third set was close, however Bandera was unable to close out the game.

S.A. Cole (3-3) fell to S.A. Randolph (3-2), 14-6

Manor New Tech (2-4) defeated John Paul II (2-3), 20-17
