Legion Auxiliary Car Show winners gallery

Bandera’s American Legion Post 157 Women’s Auxiliary had their sixth annual car show at Hevenor Lumber Company this past Sunday, benefiting veterans in local nursing homes. 
There were two classes, Antique and Classic along with three special awards, Auxiliary’s Choice, Veterans Choice and Peoples Choice, and the coveted Best in Show award.
All awards were presented by Gerda Weathers of the Women’s Auxiliary.
​Winners are:
Ed Verhelst won two trophies, first in Classic and the Auxiliary’s Choice with his light green 68 Camaro.
Doug King won third in Classic with his 66 Pontiac Tri-power GTO and took third in Antique and Veterans Choice with his gray 59 Cadillac nine person limo.
