Fire Department barbecue a big success

The Medina Lake Volunteer Fire Department held their long-awaited annual fundraising barbecue on Oct. 16 in the fire station at 10660 PR 37 in Lakehills.
The large crowd feasted on a meal of brisket, sausage, trimmings and drink while browsing the auction and raffle items and listening to lively music. The homemade desserts were many and appealed to a wide variety of tastes.
The event was considered a huge success and the department is grateful to all who participated and to all who bid and bought and donated.
