The Lady Dogs took on the Llano Daubers last Thursday night at home.
Seventh grade
The “B” team came out great and set the tone for the night, Bulldog Domination.
The first set was close, but Bandera won 25-23 and the second was 25-15. We want to recognize the passing skill of the team as a whole and great passing from Kienna Czelinski, Mylaa Cromwell and Abby Sizemore.
The “A” would win their first set as well with an identical score of 25-23. There were many fantastic rallies in the first set, with great saves made by Samantha “Peanut” Sardo, Kyra Blake, and the rest of the squad.
The second set was much less competitive and the Bulldogs took it, 25-17. Earlier this season, the team was defeated by Llano, so winning the match shows how much they have improved in just a short time.
Eighth grade
The “B” team fought hard on defense and they took the win in two sets, 25-18 and 25-17.
The “A” team was victorious against Llano winning in three sets. Bandera won the first set, 25-20 with Emma Wells serving up five points for the team. The second set was lost 25-17, but the ladies recovered in the third and final set with Addysen Bailey serving up eight consecutive points to put the girls into the lead.
Middle blocker Kadence Beckett delivered the nail-biting victory with an above-net joust
