Lakehills Saturday Market back again

The Bandera Prophet
The Lakehills Saturday Market was revived Oct. 30, after a hiatus over the hot summer months. The event took place at the Lakehills Community Center, at 11225 PR 37. About a dozen vendors came to sell their wares. The crowd started thin due to the chilly weather, but picked up when things warmed up.
Managers Jeremy and Lacey Salois felt that the economy and inflation made a difference and said they plan to bring the next Market Day to Lakehills in January. They have plenty of parking and there is no fee for parking or for admission.
In addition, barbecue was available. Dessert included the famous Cajun Festival Bread Pudding with whiskey sauce.
