Two men with active warrants were arrested last week after an off-duty deputy recognized them entering a local restaurant.
Samuel Dinmore and William Anderson, of Bandera, were apprehended on Oct. 27, at about 8 p.m., while they were seen inside Pap’s Italian Grill by Deputy Will Smith. Smith contacted on-duty Deputy Brett Oberlechner, and together they detained Dinmore and Anderson after confirming their identities.
While searching Anderson, Smith confiscated 3.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Anderson, who had an outstanding warrant for driving with no drivers license, was charged with possession of a controlled substance - a third-degree felony.
Dinmore was detained on an outstanding warrant for theft of mail.
