Whitetail Trail Trot 5K race to benefit non-profit group
The non-profit organization Hill Country Samaritans is putting on its first ever 5K fundraiser fun run and kids 1K on Saturday, Nov 20. The run will be held on a section of the Lake Medina RV resort on the Leibold-Grothues Ranch, established in 1882.
There will be food, music, giant lawn games and more. Register to walk, run, or jog this previously unseen by the public area. Plus, you'll be supporting the organization that conducts the Back-To-School Bash, Thanksgiving Community Dinner, Christmas Community Choir and Bethlehem Under The Stars.
The Lake Medina RV Resort is at 1218 Leibolds Point in Lakehills. The 5K race begins at 9 a.m. Early registration fee is $30; on race day registration is $40. The kids 1K race will begin at 10:30 a.m.; registration is free. Packet pickup will be available that morning beginning at 7:30 a.m.
