The Lakehills Area Library hosted a Holiday Market on Nov. 13, which drew a crowd of holiday shoppers looking for that perfect Christmas gift.
Library board members served breakfast tacos and coffee while several vendors offered a large variety of wares: jewelry; knitted items of all kinds, including animals; plants; Mary Kay products; John Tucker’s wonderful woodworks; decorated horse shoes; baked goods; flag placemats; and author Lisa Rollison selling her debut book, Ship of Salvation.
The Lakehills Area Library is located at 7200 FM 1283 and provides so much more than books. They invite the public to check them out. They are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call the library at 830-510-2777.
