Lakehills American Legion Post donates to local non-profits
Second disbursement in three months

The Lakehills American Legion Post #410 continues its tradition of providing financial support for local area non-profit organizations who work to help foster the American Legion Constitution of mutual helpfulness to our community.
During their November General Meeting, the members of the Post voted to award financial donations to numerous Bandera area non-profit organizations. These contributions were made to the Silver Sage Meals on Wheels program, Pipe Creek VFD, Lakehills Civic Center, Medina Lake VFD, and the Arthur Nagel Community Clinic. Each will receive donation checks of $400 each.
“We are pleased to once again provide financial support to our local area community-based non-profits that do so much for our fellow residents and the veterans we serve. Our Bandera County community has been very supportive of our Lakehills American Legion Post and our efforts, and we are proud to pass on that support to our non- profit brother and sister organizations,” Post Commander Will Evans said.
“This is the second disbursement in just over three months, and we are happy to support and in fact increase our donations to local non-profits that support our mission of helping our community. Our legion members were very enthusiastic about providing this support and nominating these agencies for our direct financial support,” Post Finance Officer Ron Clarke said.
