Fishing for Fun at the Park

Yesterday afternoon, approximately 100 people came out to enjoy a bit of fishing and eating pizza and goodies at Bandera City Park. Along with furnished fishing poles there were blankets, beanies, gloves and fishing poles given away to the young’uns that got there before supplies ran out.
This year's event was made possible by volunteers, City of Bandera staff and sponsors, Bandera Electric Cooperative, Atmos Energy, Hondo National Bank, Lowes, The Dough Joe and Adurra Inc.
Although the fish didn’t cooperate much, just a few were caught, and everyone had a good time.
Bill Dance was introduced to the joys of fishing and there were memories made that will be talked about for a long time to come.
