Lady Bulldog soccer shutout in season opener

Bandera Lady Bulldog soccer fell in their season opener to Burnet, 5-0, at home Tuesday night.
Burnet jumped out to a 4-0 halftime lead with aggressive play in the Bandera end of the pitch and finding some openings in the Lady Bulldog defense.
Key adjustments at the half by the Bulldog coaching staff helped as Bandera gave up just a single goal in the second half.
Defensively, Bandera was led by Goalkeeper Bietzel Gonzales with 30 saves on the night.
Bandera will travel to Somerset on Jan. 11 for their next match.
