Primary Election dates to remember

A candidates forum/meet and greet will be held at the Lakehills Community Center on Sunday, Feb. 6, at 4 p.m. Each candidate will introduce themselves, explain their goals, and answer questions.
Sample ballots will be available and the order of speaking will be as the order on the ballot.

Important election dates include:
First day of early voting: Monday, Feb. 14
Last day to apply for a ballot by mail: Friday, Feb. 18
Last day of early voting by personal experience: Friday, Feb. 25
Election Day/last day to receive a ballot by mail: Tuesday, March 1

Early voting locations are in Bandera at the Ray Mauer Annex, 403 12th Street; in Lakehills at the Lakehills Area Library, 7200 FM 1283; and in Medina at the Medina Annex, 161 E. Parker Street. Hours at all are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Extended hours are Tuesday, Feb. 15 and Feb. 22, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
No voting will take place on Monday, Feb. 21, when all county offices will be closed in observance of President’s Day.
On Election Day, March 1, voting will take place by precinct. Hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
