PIPE CREEK CHRISTIAN SCHOOL will hold the second annual Drive-Through Dinner on Friday, April 1, 5-7 p.m., at the school, 1990 FM 1283.
For $10, each plate will include beef lasagna, salad, garlic bread, drink and dessert. All proceeds will benefit the school.
Tickets are available now at the New Life Resale Shop, next door to the school.
LAKEHILLS AREA LIBRARY will hold their annual Fundraiser Dinner & Auction on Saturday, April 2, in the Lakehills Community Center, 11225 PR 37. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., silent auction, 5-6:30, live auction, 6:30.
Meal tickets are $10 and will get you Gerry’s Famous Chicken Spaghetti, garden salad, breadstick and tea or coffee, 5-7:30, with desserts, beer, wine available.
Meal and raffle tickets are available at the library, 7200 FM 1283.
LAKEHILLS COMMUNITY CENTER, 11225 PR 37, will host the annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt & Party on Saturday, April 16, from 2 - 5 p.m. More details to follow, but the South Texas Blood & Tissue will be there for blood donations. For more information, call the center at 830-751-9904.
LAKEHILLS COMMUNITY CENTER will host “Let’s Talk Trash!” This will be a county-wide discussion on the Bandera County trash problem and will include recycling.
The date is Friday, April 22, at 7 p.m., in the Center at 11225 PR 37.

Visitors are invited to bring a chair and enjoy all the festivities.
No admission fee and free parking. Vendors call 830-510-3050 to reserve a spot. All proceeds will benefit the school.
PIPE CREEK DANCEHALL MARKET DAY is returning on Saturday, April 23, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Located at 9878 Hwy. 16S, there will be many vendors, live music with dancing available, food and drinks, and the availability to explore some of Pipe Creek’s most historical places.
If interested in selling, apply by emailing [email protected] or text a message to 210-854-6577. Booths are 10 by 10 feet and run $40. Future dates are set for June, September, November and December.
MEDINA LAKE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT will hold their annual BBQ, Auction & Raffle on Saturday, April 30, starting at 11 a.m. Located at 10660 PR 37 in Lakehills, the barbecue meal will be followed by the live auction.
Raffle tickets are available now and can be purchased online by going to the website www.medinalakevfd.com/raffle/ for $10 for 12 tickets. Or, purchase locally from a firefighter at $1 each or $5 for six tickets.
There is a separate, limited ticket Gun Raffle, the tickets purchased in person only from a firefighter or board member. Those tickets are $25 each and only 400 will be sold. Three guns are offered: an AR-15, a 9 mm pistol, and a 12-Ga shotgun. Thanks to Reflex Firearms for donating the guns.
To donate a new or like new item for the auction or raffle, contact the fire department at 830-751-2525.
AMERICAN LEGION POST 410, 147 Legion Dr. in Lakehills, serves home cooked meals every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. You get an entree, with sides and beverage for $8 a plate. Desserts are available.
The Post is open to the public every day except Thursdays, from 3 p.m. All are welcome.

LAKEHILLS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 150 Ave. J in Lakehills, offers a free community meal, Bread of Life, every Monday on school days, at 5 p.m.

On March 28, Medina Lake is at 22.2 per cent capacity. The lake level is 1013.24 feet, which is down 50.96 feet.
The Medina River has a flow of 11.6 cfs in Bandera, standing 3.35 feet deep at the gage.
