The Bandera Prophet
The Bandera Natural History Museum on Saturday hosted an Easter egg hunt and other fun activities, replete with a visit from Olivia, the walking, roaring raptor who loves to play.
After her visit, families wandered the grounds amongst the dinosaurs while looking for prehistoric eggs, as well as small plastic ones, which they turned in for prizes. Throughout the day, numerous family-friendly special activities took place, including decorating foam dinosaurs, rock painting and bubble chasing.
The Natural History Museum is at 267 Old San Antonio Road in Bandera. It is open Wednesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. For more information, go to https://www.facebook.com/BanderaNHM
