By Dianna Landes

The Lakehills Library will be working with Vaccinate Bandera to host a vaccine clinic for free Covid-19 vaccines and boosters for children aged 5+ and adults on Thursday, May 12, 3:30-5:30 p.m. No appointments are needed.
The second and fourth Tuesday of every month, from 1-3 p.m., a representative from Centromed/Enroll SA will be at the library to help people register for the Healthcare Marketplace, CHIP and Medicaid. If you have questions about healthcare, you should come by and speak with Mary, you might be surprised at what you qualify for. She will be at the Lakehills Library, May 12 and 26, 1-3 p.m.
On Friday, May 27, at 11a.m., The Lakehills Library will host the second of it's new technology education classes. Lakehills Area Library is working with AARP Senior Planet to bring our community quality technology education for all ages. We will be starting with a series of one hour lectures on technology topics.
On Friday, May 27, from 11 a.m. to noon Dianna will teach a class on how to look at where your information is coming from online and how to know if that source is a reliable or a biased source. We all get so much information online these days, and it's always good to understand who is giving you the information and where they are getting it from. These classes are free to all and we would love to have suggestions on technology topics that you would like to learn more about.
Yoga with Jessica every Tuesday and Thursday morning, from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., in the Lakehills Library Meeting Room. The class is for all ages, and free. Please bring a mat and water.
Children's storytime is every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Come to enjoy preschool-aged crafts, songs and stories.
The Lakehills Area Library is at 7200 FM 1283. Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
