Girl’s Cross Country to be featured on new city water tower

With the planned construction of a new elevated water tank on Mulberry St., the long-promised addition of the Lady Bulldogs’ four consecutive cross-country state championships to be put on a city water tower is almost a reality.
At last Tuesday’s City Council meeting, it was agreed that the city would get in touch with the Bandera Bulldog Athletic Booster Club and the BHS Art department for a logo suggestion.
There were a variety of logos presented years ago when the application was made and passed unanimously by council, but they have been apparently misplaced over the years.
The elevated tank will be painted bright white with two logos painted in royal blue, a Bandera Texas Cowboy Capital of the World logo and the Cross Country logo.
