Christian Womens Job Corps of Bandera County to begin Fall Session

Open enrollment for the Fall 2022 12-week Session of the Christian Womens Job Corps of Bandera County will begin July 15, and close Aug. 20.
The classes will take place Tuesdays through Thursdays, Aug. 31 to Nov. 18, at 1302 Pecan Street. Child care is provided free of charge; and the classes end at 3:30, before school age children are released for the day. Lunch is provided each class day. The program is free and available for women 18 years of age and older.
Every skill, trade and passion can make a long-term impact on our participant's lives. That is the goal of the CWJC: to educate and empower women through the love of Jesus Christ.
Volunteers’ impact on program participants include the mentorship program, advisory council and lunch providers who prepare lunch each class day. Also teachers who guide participants through specific class curriculum to help empower and educate for long-term sustainability.
For those interested, council training begins July 16, and mentor training begins Aug. 20. Please call for more information.
An open house is scheduled for Aug. 22.
To apply for the classes, to volunteer, or for more information, call 830-326-1457 or email CWJCBC@yahoo.com.
