BHS student attends American Legion Texas Boys State
Bandera High School Senior Coleton Trenkelbach was recently chosen by the American Legion Post 410 to participate in the Texas Boys State/Nation program.
Active in athletics, the 4-H rabbit project, shotgun project and FFA, Trenkelbach is is the treasurer for the 2022-2023 NHS and ranked in the top 10 of his class. He will graduate in 2023.
Trenkelbach followed in his dad Casey Trenkelbach’s (1988) and brother Tyler Trenkelbach’s (2017) footsteps and graduated from the Texas Boys State in Austin this past June 12-17.
More than 900 boys attended, walking an average of five miles per day, visiting the state capital and conference rooms around the UT campus.
